Youth Addiction Worker (Various Positions – Full-time/Part-time/Relief) – Youth Support Services – Live-In Treatment

The Youth Addiction Worker works directly with the youth in the Live-In Treatment Program. You will provide individual counseling and life skills training, plan and participate in recreational, community service, and some educational activities.  You will participate in treatment planning and implementation in conjunction with the Case Management Coordinator, Program Manager and Program Director. This position requires shift work.

 

Full-Time Case Management Coordinator – Youth Justice Services – Secure

The Case Management Coordinator provides leadership in case management activities for all people we support at Ray of Hope – Secure. Through using information provided upon intake and assessment, the Case Management Coordinator, in collaboration with other team members develops individual case management plans and communicates such plans with all stakeholders. As part of case management planning, the Case Management Coordinator will develop reintegration plans for the people we support. They will assess and evaluate the progress of goals as set out in the plan.

 

Full-Time Social Worker – Youth Justice Services – Secure

Under the general supervision of the Program Manager, the Social Worker provides individual, group and family counselling and evidence-based rehabilitative programs to address the mental health and emotional issues of the youth. The Social Worker is responsible for completing clinical reports for casework and case file review with youth care workers. The Social Worker will provide guidance and support for the Youth Care Worker in the development of crisis management strategies for individual young persons.

 

Full-Time Youth Justice Officer [Multiple Positions] – Youth Justice Services – Secure

The Youth Justice Officer (FT/PT YCW) is responsible for providing day-to-day supervision to male youth in a Secure Custody Detention facility.  The Youth Justice Officer (FT/PT YCW) will engage in appropriate behavioural management and will actively participate in providing an effective, supportive, and respectful care system for the youth in custody.
