Mentoring

Our Mentorship program connects community-based people with youth, have them build strong relationships and give support, encouragement and coaching where needed with the hope of building a positive and ongoing relationship and assist the youth in becoming a responsible member of their community.

All of our volunteer mentors attend training sessions, are screened, interviewed, and finally matched to a youth with a commitment to the youth of a least one hour per week for one year. Weekly meetings occur in the community at public locations that are comfortable to both the mentor and the mentoring partner. By looking beyond the mistakes and seeing the youth for who they really are, mentors have the opportunity to encourage, build-up and empower them by focusing on and developing the strengths they already possess. Our youth are worth it!
