International Teams

In partnership with International Teams and their Welcome Home ministry, Ray of Hope provides 11 apartments above our Morning Glory Cafe and Bakery on King St. to provide living accommodations to refugees and refugee claimants that are just arriving in the Kitchener Waterloo community. This partnership has truly been a collaborative effort to meet the needs of this growing part of our neighbourhood.

Program Highlights

• Housing for newly arrived refugees - singles and families - for up to one year.

• Community living with personal, emotional and spiritual support

• Settlement assistance with referrals to agencies and services specializing in refugee and immigrant needs

• Friendships with volunteers from the local church communities
