Sources of Government Funding

Federal

Services Canada

Ray of Hope has a contract with Services Canada whick helps to pay the salaries of our participants in our Morning Glory Cafe and Bakery youth employment training program. The funding also supports some of the costs for staff to provide life and job skills training. The assistance provided through their Skills Link program is vital to our being able to operate this program and have the success levels we have experienced in helping youth find permanent job placements or purposefully return to the school system.

Provincial

Ministry of Children and Youth Services, Justice funds our custody, educational and youth reintegration programs that Ray of Hope operates.

Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, through the Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network funds our youth addiction treatment programs. Ray of Hope, like all other health services providers has a detailed Multi-Sectoral Service Agreement with our local WWLHIN, which outlines the services we are contracted to supply.
