Youth Addiction Funding Announcement
On December 5,2008 we were pleased to host MPP John Milloy, MPP Leeanna Pendergast, Sandra Hanmer CEO of the Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network (WWLHIN) and Kathy Durst Chair of the Board for the WWLHIN for an announcement of the increased funding that has been provided to Ray of Hope for an expanded Youth Addiction Services program.
RoH will now be receiving $1.41 million in annual funding to support an 8-bed Residential Treatment Program, and an expanded Community Based Treatment program which will now include a Day Treatment Program. We are very excited about the commitment that our healthcare system has made to Ray of Hope to develop and provide these essential services to our community youth and their families.
The official announcement from the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care is in the attached file.
