Current openings include:

Pandemic Coffee Server
Pandemic Coffee servers will be in charge of the coffee station. They will be responsible to make the coffee, serve the coffee, and distribute the coffee to anyone desiring one in acceptable socially distanced ways. They will be responsible to keep the coffee station clean (food safety) and sanitized (pandemic safety) during their shifts. They will be expected to have excellent spoken English, be friendly and outgoing at all times and get to know the names and preferences of the guests they are working with. Face masks are required for the duration of the shift. PPE will be supplied.

We are asking for 4 persons each day to make a weekly commitment of one particular 3-hour shift until March 31, 2021. (20 persons)

Pandemic Marketplace Server

Pandemic Marketplace servers will assist guests in the process of using our food bank program in accordance with the guidelines set by the FoodBank of Waterloo Region. The role includes recording all visits in the databank, accompanying guests through the Marketplace ensuring compliance with food & pandemic safety guidelines, and distributing pre-packaged food hampers to those who prefer not to enter the building. Restocking shelves, periodically sanitizing all work surfaces, and general cleanup of the work area will also be done as required. Face masks are required for the duration of the shift. PPE will be supplied.

We are asking for 3 persons each day to make a weekly commitment of one particular 3-hour shift until March 31, 2021. (6 persons total)
